Joseph Ronan is a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP.

Joseph concentrates his practice on public and private company employee benefits and executive compensation issues, as well as tax matters related to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions. A former in-house attorney in a major international telecommunications company, Joseph focuses on qualified and nonqualified compensation and retirement plans, executive and equity compensation, and benefits finance matters. His clients range from Fortune 100 companies to emerging growth and technology companies.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Joseph held a senior position in the law department of a Fortune 50 company. As a result, he has experience with benefits and corporate tax issues associated with M&A, dispositions, and joint ventures as well as tax audit and controversy matters, including state and local tax issues. Joseph has held leadership positions with Haverford College, Friends Select School, Philabundance, Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and the Tax Sections of the American Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association.
