Debbie Martino is currently Assistant Vice President, Corporate Tax Planning & Advisory for Lincoln Financial Group. Debbie is responsible for evaluating and implementing tax planning strategies across the federal, state, and local tax areas for both direct and indirect taxes. Her responsibilities also include providing transaction support and assisting with and implementing M&A transactions.
Debbie has over 23 years of experience working in the tax field. She worked 15 years in Public Accounting for two of the largest accounting firms serving multi-national clients and Fortune 500 companies. During her work experience both in Public Accounting and as Tax Director for a privately held company, Debbie oversaw and coordinated services including tax accounting and financial reporting, tax compliance and reporting, tax planning and tax controversy both domestically and globally.
Debbie is certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Debbie received a Bachelor degree with honors from Drexel University and a Master of Science in Taxation from Villanova University.
Debbie has taught Corporation Tax at Drexel University in the Masters of Accounting Program since 2013. She has coordinated, wrote and taught tax technical training sessions both in Public Accounting and Private Industry. Debbie also serves on the Board for the Philadelphia Tax Conference.
