Brian Condon is a Principal in the Mergers & Acquisitions Tax practice in KPMG’s Tysons Corner, VA office since 2004. He consults on corporate tax transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate restructurings, spin offs, recapitalizations and redemptions. From 2000 to 2004, Brian was a member of the Corporate Tax group in the firm’s Washington National Tax (WNT) practice, where he worked on large corporate transactions for key clients. Prior to his role in WNT, Brian was a tax manager in KPMG’s New York, NY office. Before joining KPMG, Brian served as an attorney in the Office of the Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Brian has authored or co-authored tax articles in Tax Advisor and the American University International Law Journal and Virginia Business.
Brian is an adjunct professor of corporate tax law at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, and has also served as a faculty member for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. He is currently involved in the College of Tax Counsel, an organization of tax lawyers selected for their excellence in tax practice and furtherance of legal education. He is also admitted to the Bar Association Section of Taxation.
